Blue Coat School is currently recruiting for new invigilators to help with the running of examinations, starting as soon as possible.
We are seeking to appoint additional invigilators to join our examination team. The successful candidates will relate positively to all learners, be extremely reliable, enthusiastic and flexible with good verbal communication skills.
This role is to oversee and supervise examinations as necessary throughout the school year and as such our Invigilators are employed on a casual basis, with hours and days of work subject to the timings of each examination.
This position will be reporting to the Exams Officer.
Key Requirements Applicants will need to demonstrate a commitment to teamwork and have effective communication skills, experience of working (paid or unpaid) with children of appropriate age range would be desirable.
The successful candidates will ensure that guidelines and regulations for the integrity and security of the examination papers and procedures are followed during examination sessions and be comfortable addressing large groups of students.

Blue Coat is a successful and oversubscribed school in the heart of the city of Coventry. As a Christian school our intake draws from both the local area and across the city and surrounding areas. Our most recent Progress 8 score was +0.42. The vast majority of our students stay on into the sixth form and continue their studies.
We have a large and successful Post 16 provision with 350 pupils on average studying either A levels or Vocational Level 3 courses. We have excellent rates of progression to universities, apprenticeships and employment.
