About the role

As an Exam Invigilator, you will ensure that examinations are undertaken in accordance with the appropriate guidelines. This will involve supporting the Examinations Department in creating and maintaining the best possible environment for students to achieve their potential.

Some key responsibilities include ensuring that the examination room is set up and maintained as per regulations, maintaining a quiet and calm environment for students in the examination room, preventing possible candidate malpractice and ensuring the security and confidentiality of the examination papers and environment before, during and after the examination.

This is a zero-hour contract role needed term-time during exam dates.

Who we are looking for 

While you do not need any specific qualifications, you will need to be flexible, available to work during key examination periods during the year with early starts (8:00am) and some late finishes. Reliability, punctuality and attention to detail are essential to succeed in the role. You must be willing to undergo internal examination training. You will also be tactful, diplomatic, firm, fair and relate to candidates, yet maintain an air of authority.
