Langley School is an HMC boarding and day school offering all through education to over 880 pupils aged 6 months to 18 years in Norfolk.

Set within two enviable countryside sites, these stunning green campus locations are a wonderful canvas which allow children space to breathe and grow – with the added advantage of being in close proximity to the vibrant city of Norwich and having nearby transport links to Cambridge, London, and Schiphol Airport (via Norwich Airport).

With an established legacy in providing first class inclusive education, Langley is an innovative, caring and stimulating place to work. It is our ambition to not only build the areas in which our strengths lie, but to lead the way as a forward-thinking and aspirational school.

Langley is a co-educational, inclusive, day and boarding school for ages 6 months to 18 years. We are fortunate to be set within two 100+ acre countryside sites: the Pre-Prep and Prep school are based in Taverham; the Senior and Sixth Form just outside Loddon. These green, stunning campus locations are a wonderful canvas that allows children space to breathe. The warmth and family feel to the school allows pupils to flourish at their own pace, while also being aspirational and forward-looking.

We aim to continue to raise academic standards by focusing on excellence in the quality of education that we provide. We are fully committed to creating the right learning environment – one that celebrates the individual and nurtures their interests.

Our curriculum is supported by the three strands: Creative (music, drama, art and design), Action (sport and outward bounds) and Service (community engagement and charity).  Focussing on Intellectual curiosity (STEM, Creative Arts, Debating, Languages), Community engagement (internal and external), and the Environment (utilising the benefits of the green campus from Forest School in the Prep to the outdoor classroom at the Senior site).

The character of the individual is central to the Langley education. Through the plethora of opportunities on offer, from CCF and sports teams, to UEA masterclasses and music soirées, our fantastic pupils are nurtured to be confident, curious and kind.

There is a full range of day and boarding options, from one night a week to the full experience. This also fits into the triumvirate of school, family and community, as the school week is busy and action packed, and the weekends are free for time in the home environment. There is elite sporting provision with the Langley football academy and the newly created netball academy. The class sizes of 16-18 pupils allow for learning and enrichment, taught by caring subject specialists.
