We are seeking to recruit Invigilators on a part-time and occasional basis to support our internal and external exam schedules.
Lengths of examinations may vary and Invigilators may be called on to cover morning only/ afternoon only/all day sessions. This role has variable hours which will be confirmed and agreed with the Data and Examinations Manager. Most exams are taken in November, December, May and June so availability during these times is essential.
The Palmer Catholic Academy is a voluntary aided co-educational Academy for students aged 11 to 18. Founded in 1961 by Canon Patrick Palmer as Canon Palmer Catholic School with the aim of serving the Catholic community in Ilford, the Academy has grown in numbers and stature. At The Palmer Catholic Academy, we are committed to achieving a holistic education for the students that we serve recognising the individual talents, abilities and paths of all of our students. CPD
The Palmer Catholic Academy offers a diverse range of CPD activities that meet the needs and requirements of all staff at various stages of their professional career. Professional Development Groups allow staff to opt in to sessions that focus on particular areas of pedagogy to deepen understanding and share good practice. Opportunities are also given to emerging leaders to lead on various initiatives across the academy.

The Palmer Catholic Academy is ideally located with excellent transport links for both buses and trains (Elizabeth Line - Seven Kings Station - 12 minutes from Stratford). Good local amenities.
