Prestwich Arts College wishes to appoint an organised and professional individual, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to stay calm under pressure, to lead our examinations department and be a deputy cover officer. The successful candidate will be responsible for the administration and organisation of all aspects of internal and external examinations, in accordance with the regulations laid down by the awarding bodies and the JCQ. The role also incorporates the administrative responsibility for managing the daily cover rota for teaching staff (arranging agency / supply staff as required), if the cover lead is unavailable. The ideal candidate will be logical and be able to communicate effectively with the school community and all relevant stakeholders.

Appointment, therefore, will be subject to clearance checks through the Disclosure and Barring Service. In addition, we will also require the receipt of two suitable / appropriate references, medical clearance, copies of relevant qualifications and eligibility to work in the UK.
