Hours: Annualised contract (8am to 4.30pm during term)
Contract: Permanent, term time only plus 10 days and INSET days
Responsible to: Assistant Headteacher
Villiers High School is looking to appoint a professional, self-motivated and experienced Examinations Officer. The successful candidate will be expected to provide high quality, effective and confidential administrative support for all internal and external school exams and must adhere to educational requirements.
The successful candidate is expected to have excellent IT skills (in Microsoft Office and information systems i.e. SIMS) and strong communication skills. Experience in a busy office environment is essential and proven examinations experience preferably within an educational establishment is highly desirable. Candidates must have the ability to demonstrate the ability to follow legal requirements, organise exams and schedules using IT systems and have strong communication skills to ensure procedures are followed correctly by students, staff and the school and are clearly kept informed of all processes and procedures.
The successful candidate will need to:
* Be resilient, flexible and demonstrate an ability to work in a busy environment
* Be methodical and well organised
* Be able to plan, organise and prioritise workload to meet deadlines
* Have knowledge and understanding of the examinations processes and requirements for schools
