We are looking to appoint a multi skilled examinations officer to manage all aspects of internal and external examinations at SILS, on a part time basis working three days per week.
The exams officer will take a lead in ensuring that entries, registrations and results are accurately collated and recorded in accordance with Awarding Body Regulations. They will coordinate the administration of external examinations, ensuring they are conducted effectively in the best interests of students and in line with the Joint Council (JCQ) regulations for the conduct of examinations.
Previous experience as an examinations officer is desirable and we are particularly keen to hear from people with experience of SIMS, as well as, excellent communication, presentation and organisational skills.
Applicants must have good literacy, numeracy and ICT skills and must be willing to work across our two school sites, although the position will be largely based at our KS4 premises at Porlock Hall, SE1 (by London Bridge).
