Bangkok Patana School seeks a calm, detail-driven professional to lead the coordination of internal and external exams, baseline testing. This is a Business Staff role and not part of the Academic teaching faculty – local hire only. High fluency in English is essential, as this role involves regular communication with students, staff, and parents in English.

About the Role
As the Exams Administrative Officer, you will lead the coordination of internal and external assessments, as well as baseline testing. Working closely with academic leaders, invigilators, the data team, and examination boards, you’ll help ensure a smooth, professional experience for both students and staff. You will also support clear and timely communication with parents regarding examination logistics and baseline testing.
This role is ideal for someone with strong organisational skills who enjoys structured problem-solving and wants to make a meaningful impact in education.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and administer a variety of external examinations, including IGCSE, IB, SATs, and others.
- Oversee logistics such as examination timetables, venue bookings, compliance, and secure exam material handling.
- Support invigilator training and scheduling; ensure processes align with regulatory standards.
- Organise and process baseline assessments in collaboration with the Data Manager. Support the integration of assessment data into the school’s information system, whole-school dashboard, and reporting tools.
- Assist academic teams by streamlining administrative workflows and maintaining high data integrity.
What we are looking for
- Strong administrative or operational background in an educational setting (International School experience a plus).
- High fluency in spoken and written English, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally across the school community.
- Excellent attention to detail, planning skills, and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
- Competence in MS Excel; experience with data dashboards and exam software is an advantage.
- A collaborative mindset and excellent communication skills.
- A passion for getting systems right, and supporting student outcomes from behind the scenes.
