The Role

We are currently seeking to appoint a suitable person to provide high levels of organisation and accurate delivery of an exam season.  This role requires absolute accuracy and the use of highly organized systems at all times.  

Responsibilities include: (see full job description)

  • undertaking the administration involved with examinations and      assessments including electronic entry and registration for courses for      external qualifications, mock exams and internal exams. 
  • acting as a focal point for examination queries; liaising with      staff, students and/or parents as necessary, ensuring that all relevant      documentation is processed in this regard. 
  • being aware of JCQ and exam board requirements, ensuring that they      are met.

What we're looking for

We are seeking an excellent communicator with exceptional administrative and organisational skills.  Previous experience of working within a school environment would be an advantage and a genuine interest in working amongst young people is essential.  Flexibility is also crucial to this role in order to meet the demands of a busy school, as is the ability to build effective relationships with staff, governors and the whole school community.

The School

Manchester Health Academy opened in September 2009 and is sponsored by Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust. In September 2010 the Academy moved into a £20 million state-of-the-art building and to accommodate a growing student population we are currently expanding further with a £10 million project set to conclude in September 2018. Rated by Ofsted in April 2015 as a good school, with many outstanding features, we are now embarking on the next stage of our journey to outstanding and are looking for exceptional and inspiring individuals to help us achieve this ambition.
