We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and hardworking Examinations Officer from January 2022 to work within our Administration Team providing an efficient, effective and streamlined exams service.

You will need to be adept at multi-tasking and managing your time effectively. Good ICT skills and excellent written and oral communication skills are essential, along with relevant administrative experience. Excellent interpersonal skills are also required as is the ability to quickly form good relationships with students, parents, colleagues and other professionals.

Experience within a secondary school is desirable.

Hours:

  • 12 exam weeks working hours 8.15am – 3.45pm.
  • 26 non-exam weeks working hours 9am – 3pm plus up to 10 additional days (results days during school summer holidays).

Beverley Grammar School is a boys-only, comprehensive, non-denominational secondary school with sixth form situated in Beverley, East Yorkshire. It is an academy converter supported by a single-academy trust.

Along with Beverley High School for girls, it provides a mixed sixth form. A smaller than average secondary school, Beverley Grammar School provides 920 places for secondary and sixth-form students aged 11-18 when fully subscribed.

The oldest state school in England, Beverley Grammar School was founded in 700AD. With multiple relocations over the years, the school grew from as few as 70 students to the size it is today, with many renovations throughout the 20th century and beyond.
