Permanent contract - 37 hours per week – All year round (consideration will be given to term time only with 2-4 weeks work within school holidays)
Salary £20,661 - £22,658 – all year round salary
Required, as soon as possible, an Exams Officer to strategically lead and manage the school’s internal and external examinations.

About The Summerhill School
Summerhill School is a mainstream, co-educational, non-denominational, community secondary school for children aged 11-16. It is situated in Kingswinford, outside Dudley in the West Midlands, and there are 1,093 students on its roll.
We are a school that is grounded in our local community. We have wonderful children, caring and supportive parents and a great team of staff. We have modern, well-equipped facilities and are located within beautiful countryside. Summerhill students achieve superb examination results. Our attainment levels have been well above the national and local patterns for many years: our attainment 8 score for 2025 of 51.5 is almost 5 points higher than the national average and more than 8 points above the local average. Our Progress 8 score for 2024 was +0.43 and modelling suggests that our 2025 score would be at a similar level if national figures were being published. We are proud of what we have achieved but are not complacent and keep looking for ways to improve!
