Exams Officer (Part Time – 2 days per week + additional days during Exams and Summer)

£26,000 pro rata

(Actual Salary: £10,400)

Hours:  16 hours per week / 41 weeks per year (up to 10 additional days may, at the school’s request, be worked around GCSE Results Days in August).   It is a condition of the role that the postholder will be flexible with their working hours during the exam periods, as required. Additional hours will be paid accordingly

Hall School Wimbledon is a small co-education school in Wimbledon. We require an experienced, dynamic Examinations Officer to start as soon as possible. 

This post requires a well organised and self-motivated person to be responsible for the management and smooth running of internal and external examinations, including ensuring that the Exam Boards and JCQ Regulations are adhered to at all times and the administering access arrangements.  The role requires the successful candidate to work closely with staff to maintain effective running of the centre’s examination system, and to support the school in achieving the best possible outcomes for all students.  Good written and verbal communication skills and the ability to relate well to school staff, candidates of all abilities, parents and carers are therefore essential.  Excellent IT skills and a keen eye for detail are required, as well as the ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines.
