About Holy Trinity CE Primary School

Holy Trinity CE Primary School is a mixed Church of England primary academy for 3- to 11-year-olds, located in Tottenham, North London. It has just over 230 pupils.

The school can trace its roots back to the 1790s, when it was founded as the Industrial School for Girls. It became associated with Holy Trinity Church in 1907, when it was known as Green Coat School. It took on its current name in 2013, when it came under the control of the LDBS (London Diocesan Board for Schools) Academies Trust.

Other schools in the trust are: St Andre and St Francis CE Primary School; Millbrook Park CE Primary School; St Paul’s and All Hallows’ CE Primary School; St Michael’s CE Primary School; and St Ann’s CE Primary School.

Values and vision

Holy Trinity CE Primary School is proud of its mission, which it says is to serve its local community and work in partnership with parents and the local church.

The school has what it calls a “strong Christian ethos and set of values”. It aims to provide a stable, caring and intellectually stimulating environment where children can develop their potential.

Ofsted report

“Teaching is good because most activities are carefully planned and assessed at the right level for pupils. As a result, they make good progress. Children get off to a strong start and make good progress in the early years.”

“Pupils’ spiritual, moral, social and cultural development is very strong. This, together with the work of their active school council, helps to prepare pupils for life in modern democratic Britain.”
