The Brindishe Federation was formed when three ofsted-rated outstanding schools joined together in partnership to form a cohesive, highly successful and close learning community. With 1500 very diverse children and 200+ staff our 1,2 and 3 form entry schools provide a creative, modern and dynamic education for children aged 3-11 years in Lewisham SE London.
The current post holder, Dame Vicki Paterson is ready for her next venture and we are looking for someone who can maintain and build on her successes and continue to take these wonderful, state maintained, community primary schools forward.
The schools are buoyant, viable, oversubscribed and outward looking but there are no laurels to rest on and there is always more to do. Your job would be to make sure that every Brindishe child continues to get the best that can be provided by a highly motivated, engaged, enthusiastic and talented staff. Each school has its own headteacher to whom you will provide challenge backed by support, advice, wisdom and experience. There is one, cohesive, ably-led Federation Governing Body.
As Executive Head your remit will be to uphold the strategic vision, shape the strategies, secure the necessary resources, make plans live, measure success, hold to account, share out the praise, and of course take the blame - recognising that the buck stops with you.
