The School’s Leadership Group Pay Range is L32-L43 (£90,376 - £118,367)

A 7-point ISR will be set within this range dependent upon experience, but we would consider paying beyond this range for an exceptionally experienced candidate

Following the promotion of the existing Executive Head Teacher within the Trust, we are looking for a highly organised leader with a proven track record of success, who can provide strong, purposeful and strategic leadership to enable all pupils and staff to excel.

You must be a qualified teacher who will be a strong and confident advocate for the schools in order to maintain their excellent reputation. Previous experience in a Head Teacher role and a proven track record of successful whole school improvement are essential, with experience in a Head Teacher role within an Academy being desirable.

John Flamsteed Community School is a mixed, mainstream, non-denominational secondary school in Denby, Derbyshire. It caters to students aged 11 to 16 and has approximately 852 pupils enrolled.

John Flamsteed Community School was founded in 1894 as Smithy Houses School. It reopened under its current name in 1981.
