This is an exciting opportunity for someone with leadership experience to join Our Children 1st Academy Trust.

The Trust Board Members are seeking to appoint a passionate and inspirational Executive Head Teacher.  The Trust currently operates as one school, with a vision to grow.

Pallister Park is a larger than average Primary School serving 571 children. In addition, we cater for 78 three / four year olds and 52 two year olds. The proportion of pupils eligible for Pupil Premium is well above the national average.

The Trust is looking for an Executive Head Teacher who:

  • Will put the children at the centre of all we do.
  • Is progressive and forward thinking.
  • Has the ability to set high standards, aspirational and achievable targets which maintain the outstanding provision offered to our pupils
  • Will provide strong leadership for a fully committed team, which constantly strives to gain the best for every child.
  • Will lead this multi-cultural, inclusive school, providing the same opportunities and life chances to all, taking on board our mantra of ‘Work Hard, Play Hard’.
  • Will work in collaboration with schools in Middlesbrough and beyond, ensuring sustainability and continuity through shared best practise.
  • Has the drive and ambition to lead this unique organisation, an outstanding large primary with teaching school status.

The key aspects for our Teaching School are;

  • Recruitment and Retention of quality Teachers, through our highly successful School Direct Programme
  • Supporting Schools with CPD to challenge and extend professional capabilities.
  • Ensuring a sustainable network to support peers, colleagues and leaders.

As our next Executive Head Teacher you will be expected to lead this development in partnership with the trustees, staff, parents, children and the local community, all the while delivering a vision for our future success.
