Job overview

We are looking for an inspirational leader, with drive and outstanding strategic vision, alongside the ability to identify, nurture and embed exceptional teaching and learning across our Federation.  Set in the beautiful New Forest, all three village infant schools are currently OFSTED rated Good.

The Oaks Federation aims to provide the highest standard of education within a Christian environment.  We place a strong focus on research to continuously improve outcomes for our pupils and develop our staff.

We can offer the ability to have flexible working arrangements, a skilled and proactive board of governors who support staff with their professional development and a relocation package, where appropriate. Each school is set in rural surroundings and all within 6 miles of each other. Each school has a head of learning and an experienced staff team. The new Executive Head will need to provide effective leadership ensuring that all pupils and staff reach their full potential in a safe and inclusive environment.

The Oaks Federation are seeking an exceptional leader who has excellent strategic vision with the inspiration, drive and leadership to implement it along with:

  • The ability to identify, nurture and embed outstanding teaching and learning across the Federation.
  • An understanding of the nature of the role of executive headteacher and the opportunities and challenges presented.
  • The drive to further develop our research culture and the enthusiasm to promote our Christian values.
