Priory Education and Children’s Services is a leading company in the UK offering independent behavioural care for commissioners across the UK. With over 100 high quality schools, colleges and homes we focus on making a real and lasting difference for everyone we support.

Sketchley School, Progression House and Forest House are under one registration and provide specialist support for both boys and girls aged 8 to 19 years who are on the autistic spectrum, who may also have challenging behaviour as a result of their communication difficulties and a lack of social understanding.

Located in the quiet villages of Sketchley and Narborough in Leicestershire, all 3 sites have excellent links with the M69/M6/M1 motorways. We offer a safe and structured environment within mature private grounds for young people to develop the skills they need to live as independently as possible and make real life choices as they reach adulthood.

Each young person is viewed as an individual with their specific needs being met in appropriate ways, with individuality being encouraged. Independence is fostered and the young people are encouraged to strive towards their full potential. At all times, Sketchley, Forest and Progression Schools recognise the special needs of each individual and ensures that the learning opportunities provided for them and the targets set reflect and address these needs.

We follow a bespoke curriculum based on academic, therapeutic, life skills and engagement work. The aim is to raise standards in the education of young people with autism and help them to lead meaningful, fulfilling and happy lives.

The successful candidate will be:

  • Experienced with working with children with relevant SEN(D) and their families
