EXECUTIVE HEADTEACHER

from January 2022  

Indicative pay range: L8 - L14 

The Village Schools Federation is a Federation of five village schools located in and around Milton Keynes.  Each of our schools has a strongly held identity within its village community.

Our schools are founded by the Church of England and we look to preserve and develop our religious character in the context of Christian belief and values and in partnership with the Church.

Our pupils are drawn from within our local communities, the wider Milton Keynes area and from parents and carers looking for faith-based teaching environment.

We are seeking an Executive Headteacher to:

• Provide inspirational and motivational leadership across the federation.

• Maintain a focus on improving the quality and consistency of teaching and learning assessment and feedback.

• Prioritise closing the gap for the differing groups of children and raising achievement.

• Promote the federation’s inclusive ethos and develop innovative ways to engage with parents and stakeholders.

We are looking for a candidate who has:

• Proven successful leadership skills  

• The ability to lead curriculum development to ensure a varied and excellent education that enables pupils to develop a broad range of skills, interests and well being

• Can communicate a clear and appropriate vision for the federation’s strategic development, based on a strong understanding of the federation’s existing strengths and areas for development 

• An excellent practitioner with the ability to motivate and support staff to maintain and improve excellent teaching which results in substantial pupil progress
