EXECUTIVE HEADTEACHER

from Summer term 2022 

Indicative pay range: L16 - L22

The Merevalley Federation is a federation between Merebrook Infant School and Emerson Valley School in Milton Keynes - a rapidly expanding and vibrant place to live and work. 

We are seeking an Executive Headteacher to:

• Provide inspirational and motivational leadership across the federation.

• Maintain a focus on improving the quality and consistency of teaching and learning assessment and feedback.

• Prioritise closing the gap for the differing groups of children and raising achievement.

• Promote the federation’s inclusive ethos and develop innovative ways to engage with parents and stakeholders.

We are looking for a candidate who has:

• Proven successful leadership skills as an Executive Headteacher/Headteacher. 

• Can communicate a clear and appropriate vision for the federation’s strategic development, based on a strong understanding of the federation’s existing strengths and areas for development.

• An excellent practitioner with the ability to motivate and support staff to maintain and improve excellent teaching which results in substantial pupil progress.

• The ability to lead curriculum development to ensure a varied and excellent education that enables pupils to develop a broad range of skills, interests and well being.
