At a key point in the life of our schools, owing to the retirement of our Headteacher, the governors of The Kingfisher Schools' Federation are seeking an experienced, forward-thinking primary Headteacher who will motivate staff and pupils to achieve their best through strategic vision and drive.

Both schools have strong community links, committed staff and enthusiastic children who are keen to learn. The governing body is supportive and challenges to ensure the best outcomes for pupils. The schools are situated close to the Norfolk/Suffolk border and in proximity to the coast, which offers a wide range of activities and interests.

Our federation requires an inspiring leader with a proven track record of strong and successful leadership, excellent management and interpersonal skills, and an ability to prioritise responsibilities effectively whilst ensuring that the core focus is on the needs of the children.

From the start of the new academic year you will:

• provide effective leadership across both schools of the federation, bringing a breadth of knowledge and an awareness of current thinking
• ensure staff are motivated to develop and deliver high-quality teaching and learning that results in children achieving well against high expectations
• work in partnership with staff, parents and carers to drive, acknowledge and celebrate the achievements of our children
• uphold the strong ethos of the school
•  take us forward on our journey to become academies, deliver change, raise standards and secure a positive future for our schools.
