The Governors recognise that there are many challenges ahead, but there is an unmistakable momentum to be harnessed by a strong, inspirational leader. As a visionary leader with clear direction, you will make a major contribution to the further development of the federation, sharing best practice and building on our strengths by leading staff, students and parents towards our goal of becoming a truly outstanding faith based learning community.

We acknowledge the tremendous talent of our staff in being creative, innovative and dedicated to providing the best possible learning experience for our students.  Hence, we are seeking an inspirational, consultative leader who will harness this energy and drive, to make a tangible impact on learning at a pivotal point in our development.

The successful candidate must be a Catholic in good standing with the church and will demonstrate:

  • Commitment to developing and celebrating the Catholic life of the federation.
  • Commitment to multicultural outreach.
  • A clear understanding of the challenges of inner city education
  • A proven track record of successful school leadership at Headteacher/Principal level.
  • A thorough understanding of innovative educational developments.
  • Excellent inter-personal and effective communication skills.
  • A clear understanding of strategic and financial management.
  • A proven track record of raising standards in teaching and learning, leading to measurable whole school improvements, within a consistent, caring, accountable ethos.

Visits are both recommended and encouraged; you will have the opportunity to meet with our current Executive Head and a Governor to answer any questions you may have.
