Hillyfield Primary Academy is seeking to appoint a determined, experienced and inspirational Executive Headteacher to lead the school. Our current Executive Headteacher will be leaving at the end of the Autumn Term as her family is relocating to the North of England and the Governing Body are seeking an exceptional leader to continue to guide the school during its expansion, which will see it become one of the largest primary schools in the country.

Hillyfield Primary Academy (Ofsted “Outstanding” 2014) is the founding school of the REAch2 Academy Trust. We are looking to further strengthen our leadership team as we continue to expand to reach our full capacity of 7-forms of entry across our two sites: Hillyfield at the Park and Hillyfield on the Hill. The Executive Headteacher will work across both sites leading a large and dynamic Senior Leadership Team.

Hillyfield Primary Academy is a seven-form entry school for pupils aged 2-11 in Walthamstow, East London. The school is split across two sites a mile apart, Hillyfield on the Hill and Hillyfield at the Park. The new Park site provides facilities for extra Reception and key stage 1 classes. Hillyfield is a larger-than-average primary, with 1,200 children currently on roll and plans to add another 400.

The school motto is "Brilliance in every child. Excellence every day". Hillyfield values respect, responsibility and good behaviour in its students, helping to create a positive and welcoming atmosphere. The curriculum is tailored towards giving children valuable formative experiences that will shape their later childhood. Staff encourage children to become critical, independent thinkers. 

Art is a focus of the school, and an activity which the children can greatly enjoy. Hillyfield is also a registered Sing Up school, which gives it access to resources aimed at improving and maintaining vocal performance among pupils.
