Job overview

We are looking to appoint a highly motivated individual to support the effective and efficient running of the Great North Wood Education Trust and Elmgreen School through the provision of a high standard of administrative and management support to the Director of Administration and Finance/Chief Financial Officer and other senior staff where required. You will undertake range of tasks and operations that allow the smooth day to day functioning of the administrative and governance functions of the Trust/School.

You must be a team player and will need to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as being well organised, self-motivated, show initiative and be able to work under pressure.

The Elmgreen School is a highly inclusive school and you will be joining a staff team that are determined to change lives through the education we provide. The school is part of The Great Northwood Education Trust with Rosendale Primary School. The school is fully comprehensive and offers a broad and balanced curriculum designed to help all students succeed.

About The Elmgreen School

The Elmgreen School is a unique 11-18 secondary school. It is a non denominational mixed school which opened to its first cohort of year 7 students in September 2007.   The secondary Hearing Impaired Unit is co-located within the school. We will reach our full complement of 1100 students in 2014 which will include a 200 place sixth form. The school moved to its inspirational new building in September 2009.

The school is non selective and provides a creative and innovative curriculum, encouraging the highest standards of teaching and learning within an ethos of mutual respect, harmony and achievement.
