Extended School Worker 

This is a super opportunity for someone who has good behaviour management skills and experience of providing after-school provision, to assist in providing outstanding, creative and stimulating after-school care through safe, high quality play and learning opportunities.    

The role is part-time (3 hours per day after school/15 hours per week (3.15pm – 6.15pm)

Thus, this role can be combined with other support staff roles within our school, e.g. Breakfast Club Lead, Learning Support Assistant, (both roles are advertised separately).

That’s why you will need good numeracy/literacy skills, an understanding child development and the learning process, the ability to self-evaluate learning needs and actively seek learning opportunities, plus the ability to relate well to children and adults. This role can be added to other support staff roles.

Visits are warmly encouraged. There are two Open Mornings where you will have an opportunity to speak to Mrs Mallett (Headteacher) and have a tour of the school. The dates are: Thursday 19th April (9.00 a.m.) and Friday20th April (2.00 p.m.).
