Casual Contract

We require casual External Invigilators to work on a seasonal basis during the school exam periods, January, May and June each year. Reporting to the Examinations Officer, the post holders will work to ensure that examinations are conducted in accordance with relevant policy from the awarding body (Joint Council for Qualifications) and internal school procedure.

Duties will include distributing exam question papers, completing attendance registers and collecting completed scripts. You will also be expected to ensure disruption within the exam room is kept to a minimum, dealing with any emergencies or irregularities appropriately. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, have a confident and reassuring presence and be able to cope well under pressure. Although previous invigilation experience is highly desirable, full training will be provided.

Due to the casual, seasonal nature of the role, candidates must be flexible in order to meet the requirements of the school.
