St George’s School seeks a well-qualified professional to join our school as an Extra-Curricular Activities Coordinator, starting as soon as possible.

The School

Serving the international community in Duisburg-Dusseldorf for over 10 years, St George’s School combines an enriching curriculum with family oriented care. The school has grown from small beginnings into a thriving community of over 700 pupils, aged from 2-18 and representing a broad range of nationalities. 

The National Curriculum is taught throughout the school, and we now offer the IB Diploma Programme to our Sixth Form.

The Location

The Role

The core aim of the extra-curricular activities coordinator is to ensure a rich and diverse extra-curricular activities programme, tailored to the needs of all age ranges and which is well attended by internal and visiting pupils. The role covers 4 key areas:

1. Term-time Club Activities

2. Holiday Programmes

3. Sports Fixtures

4. School Trips

This role is an administrative position requiring the ability to communicate in German in both spoken and written formats to:

· Support Heads of Section/Department in developing a balanced club programme.

· Support Heads of Section/Department in communication with parents

· Support the enrolment process

· Support the resourcing of club activities, in conjunction with Heads of Section and the ordering department

· Manage the timeline for establishing teacher-led holiday activities, including scheduling, publicity, enrolment, invoicing, payment and teacher remuneration, in line with the internal holiday programme policy.
