Job overview
We are looking for a teacher of Geography to start in August 2019 who will take the responsibilities of an extra-curricular leader.
Our school provides extra-curricular activities through the "House system" (North, South, West and East). In grade 5, each student enters one of the Houses. The Houses compete in various athletic, intellectual and creative events. The achievements of each student collect points for their House. The students of each House meet regularly after lessons to attend workshops, take part in competitions, discuss news and help each other.
An extra-curricular leader will be responsible for the "House system" activities at break and after lessons.
Requirements:
• Experience in coordination of extra-curricular activities (quests, competitions, ratings, school fairs, shows, etc.)
• Degree in education
• Experience in working with children in a school setting
• Exceptional communication skills
• Creativity and good sense of humor
• PGCE is welcomed

About Evgeny Primakov School
Evgeny Primakov School was launched in Moscow in September 2017. Our school welcomed 700 gifted and talented students from 3 years of age to 17 years of age. About the academic program
Students at Evgeny Primakov Gymnasium will study subjects in both Russian and English languages. The latter will be represented by the subjects of Drama, Global Perspectives, Literature, Art & Design, English as a Second Language (ESL), Music and Physical Education. These subjects will be taught by professional Primary and Secondary teachers, experienced in teaching non-native students in an international setting. The goal of the academic year 2021-2022 is to continue developing fluency in English (that is why ESL will be taught across all age groups throughout the year) and to introduce students to the best practices of hands-on and practical learning.
