Vision and values

The school’s main aim is to build each student’s confidence so they can achieve their full potential. Teachers strive to do this by encouraging pupils to try new things, be respectful of others and have pride in themselves and their school community. The school wants its young people to be curious, robust, adaptable and tolerant.

Bedstone College offers a broad range of subjects as well as extra-curricular activities to produce well-rounded students. Core subjects such as science, English, maths, geography and foreign languages are emphasised in the curriculum. The school excels with its recreational activities. These include mountain biking, horseback riding, ice skating and rock climbing, on campus and further afield. There are bi-annual ski trips as well as other overseas visits for different subjects. All students contribute to a very active charity committee.

ISI report
