EYFS / KS1 Cover Supervisor

We are looking to appoint a Cover Supervisor Teaching Assistant level 3 to work in EYFS/KS1 in our school.

The successful candidate should have:

• A real commitment to working with children
• A professional attitude and commitment to furthering their own development;
• Experience of working with children in EYFS and Key Stage 1
• Strong interpersonal skills and positive behaviour management
• A high level of motivation and initiative to support pupils to achieve learning goals
• The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Experience of support pupils with specific Special Educational Needs and of running intervention groups, tracking children’s progress
• Experience of covering whole classes during PPA time and staff absence
• Teaching Assistant NVQ Level 3 or training equivalent to that standard

The ability to communicate at ease with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post.

Salary: Grade 6 scp 18 – 21 £9.27 to £10.34 per hour
Hours: 30.83 hours per week, Term time only
Contract: Fixed Term until June 2018
Required June 2017
