The Kingsley School is an independent day school for girls aged 3-18 and boys aged 3-11. It is based in Royal Leamington Spa in Warwickshire and is non-denominational. There are opportunities for the pupils, currently numbering 338, to apply for bursaries and scholarships. The school was founded in 1884 by Rose Kingsley, daughter of the Victorian author Charles Kingsley. It was first known as Leamington High School, but was renamed as The Kingsley School in 1949 in recognition of its founder.

Values and vision

The Kingsley School places great emphasis on promoting a caring ethos and a friendly atmosphere. The school encourages pupils to complete their school careers as well-rounded individuals with excellent results, a positive attitude and a sense of community. The Kingsley School was rated excellent in its last inspection for pastoral care. It also runs a programme of personal, social, health and citizenship education (PSHCE), which covers themes such as personal relationships and social awareness.
