EYFS Phase Team Leader

Chobham Academy opened in September 2013 after joining the highly successful group of Harris Academies. This 3-18 Academy is a world class educational legacy of the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. Situated within the new East Village complex, the Academy serves the community to be established in 2,800 new homes, along with existing communities in Newham, Waltham Forest and nearby London Boroughs. We are looking for an inspiring, enthusiastic, and outstanding Early Years Phase Team Leader, to join our Primary Academy of committed staff who share a common sense of purpose and high expectations of what students can achieve.

Applicants should possess strong communication skills and demonstrate the ability to raise the achievement of all students. We are looking for teachers who are passionate about education and have a flair for working with young people; we need teachers who are resilient, highly driven and self motivated, who will go the extra mile to ensure that students achieve beyond their own expectations.

The successful candidate will:

• Implement and deliver an appropriately broad, balanced, relevant and differentiated curriculum for students across EYFS
• Monitor and support the overall progress and development of students and teachers.
• Provide a motivating and structured learning experience, which will provide students with the opportunity to achieve their individual potential.
• Contribute significantly to raising standards of students’ attainment as a teacher team leader.
