Job overview

St Hilary's School is an IAPS Preparatory Day School and Nursery.  We are currently in the first phase of extending our offering to boys in Year 3 with them progressing through the school and eventually becoming fully co-ed by September 2022.  We pride ourselves in providing an outstanding all round education, equipping pupils not only with strong academic standards but also the essential qualities and skills required beyond their time at our school. Small class sizes encourage independent learning, informed risk-taking and thinking ‘out of the box’.

It is an ideal environment in which pupils, teachers and staff can fulfil and achieve their potential.  A willingness to be involved in the extra-curricular and community life of the School is essential.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an outstanding EYFS practitioner to join our team. Applicants should be experienced practitioners with a Level 3 or equivalent qualification.

At St Hilary’s you would be required to actively promote democracy, the rule of the law, individual liberty and mutual respect and tolerance of those with different faiths and beliefs. These are fundamental British Values which underpin all that we offer.

The salary will be commensurate with the qualifications and experience of the person appointed, in accordance with St Hilary’s School pay scale and the position will be full-time, with some flexibility for part-time if required, term time only.

Please submit your completed application form to Mrs Abi Churaman at secretary@sthilarysschool.com at your earliest convenience.

St Hilary’s School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children; the post holder will be subject to an enhanced disclosure through the Disclosure and Barring Service. Documents as proof of identity and rights to work in the UK will be requested at interview.
