EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant

Broad Spectrum Needs within an SEN school

ABC Teachers are seeking a Teaching Assistant trained in Early Childhood Studies or with EYFS training to work with students with medium to low level of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities in a nursery setting.

This role is initially on a part time supply basis and is based in the South Leicestershire area between the hours of 8.30 and 3.30pm.

In order to meet student’s needs there will be personal care required, including supporting students with eating / feeding and changing.

In date safeguarding and hoist training (manual handling) is required for this specific role.

ABC Teachers are open, honest with a friendly approach so we are committed to supplying quality staff into schools.

To apply for supply work you will need:

·        Relevant teaching or teaching assistant qualifications (or equivalent)

·        At least 3 months recent experience of working with SEND children

·        In date DBS registered to update service

·        Available at least 2 days a week

·        Flexibility to work in a variety of schools
