Required from January 2020
EYFS Teacher, 0.3FTE
Tuesday 13:00-16:00, Wednesday 8:00-18:00
We are seeking to appoint an EYFS teacher to join our friendly Nursery. This is an excellent and rare opportunity for an experienced teacher to join a dedicated and highly successful team of 9 people. You will work for a day and a half in the Reception class, which enables Management Time for the Head of EYFS. Duties will include helping in our after school provision, on one of the days, which runs from 4-6pm.
The Nursery currently accommodates 47 children, 18 of which are in the Reception (Swans) class. The Nursery children transition very successfully into our Preparatory School for Year 1.
We are looking for a professional teacher with strong curriculum knowledge, excellent communication skills and someone who enjoys working in a small team. You must be motivated to lead and provide outstanding creative and innovative sessions across the EYFS curriculum. When the Head of EYFS is not present, you will be responsible for the Nursery.
You must hold QTS status, a degree and have at least 5 years of teaching experience. Two years of teaching experience in a Reception class is highly desirable.
Closing date for receipt of applications: 1.00pm on Friday, 23 August 2019. Interviews to be held on Wednesday, 11 September 2019.
Ratcliffe College is committed to safeguarding the welfare of children and all applicants must be willing to undergo child protection screening, including checks with past employers and the DBS.
