Job overview

Goldthorpe Primary Academy are looking to appoint an Early Years Foundation Teacher (EYFS) to join our academy as soon as possible on a part-time (mornings only) temporary basis until 31 August 2023.

Goldthorpe is a village within the Metropolitan Borough of Barnsley, in South Yorkshire. Historically within the West Riding of Yorkshire, in ancient times it was a small medieval farming village and is even recorded in the Domesday Book. In later times, Goldthorpe flourished as a coal mining community. Following the closure of the pits and the inevitable increase in levels of socio-economic deprivation that followed, Goldthorpe is now beginning to benefit from regeneration programmes and investment.
