Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are to have recent experience working with children.

The role

Smart Teachers are seeking to recruit a EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a good school in Ealing. The post is for the duration of the 2021/2022 academic year, starting in ASAP on a full time basis. There is a high possibility of reemployment in September 2022. The successful EYFS Teaching Assistant will work in a Reception class, providing support to the whole class and some individuals. A sound knowledge of the EYFS curriculum is required. A level 3 qualification would be advantageous but not essential. This is a great opportunity to join a tight knit and skilled team of educators who are passionate about early years education.

Graded ‘Good’ by Ofsted, the school is two form entry and caters for children from a wide range of different ethnic backgrounds and academic abilities. The school has a positive reputation across the borough and prides itself on having pupils who are polite, well mannered and invested in their education. The SLT are well established and there is a big focus on CPD for staff, with the aim of upskilling all staff. Situated in Hanwell, Ealing the school has good links to both London overground and various tube lines. 

Requirements

To be considered for the EYFS Teaching Assistant position, you will:

• Hold an enhanced DBS 

• Have previous experience working with children in the UK in the past 2 years
