Vision for Education is looking to appoint a EYFS Teaching Assistant (EYFS TA) to join our successful supply team and work in a local primary school in Gorton, Manchester. This is a long-term EYFS Teaching Assistant (EYFS TA) which will commence in April 2021 and will continue on a long-term basis. For the right person, this role may become permanent.
The role
Working as part of a dynamic and creative team, the successful EYFS Teaching Assistant (EYFS TA) will focus on delivering whole class support within a busy and very popular EYFS unit within a 2-form entry primary school. The successful EYFS Teaching Assistant (EYFS TA) will be expected to work within EYFS, primarily within a Nursery class. The successful applicant will deliver literacy and numeracy to small groups. Ideally the successful EYFS Teaching Assistant (EYFS TA) will have experience of delivering intervention-based support and relishes the opportunity to help support young learners at the start of their school life. This position will be full time, working 08:30 – 15:00 Monday to Friday.

Requirements
To be considered for this EYFS Teaching Assistant (EYFS TA) position, you will:
• Hold a minimum of a Level 2 qualification in Childcare.
• Have experience of working as a Teaching Assistant in EYFS
• Be experienced in working with small groups to boost attainment
• Have experience of providing literacy and numeracy support
• Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of school staff.
• Have experience of delivering 1-1 support to pupils who have Special Educational Needs.
