Vision for Education is seeking enthusiastic and committed candidates to join our agency that would welcome the potential opportunity to work in a classroom setting within schools in your area. We currently have a vacancy for a Killingworth based Primary School are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, dedicated and positive teaching assistant to join a passionate, friendly and hardworking team.
Teaching assistant role and responsibilities:
- Assisting the classroom teacher
- Working with small groups and 1:1 support
- Supporting literacy and numeracy
- Help manage pupil behavior
- Support the development and effectiveness of work teams
- Help pupils to access the curriculum
- Liaise effectively with parents
The role is set to start ASAP and will run on until June may go on, working Monday to Friday. The desired candidate will have had experience in EYFS.
Vision for Education believe that our teachers and teachers assistants should be kept up to date with the latest training and development and as such we offer all our teachers and teachers assistants FREE CPD.
Vision for Education is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. You will be required to complete a Disclosure Application Form with a full DBS check (formally known as a CRB) (this will cost you £44) we will also request references from the last three years.
