Vision for Education is seeking to appoint an Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teaching Assistant to join our successful supply teaching team and to work in a local primary school in the Newcastle upon Tyne area. This position is to start from November 2018 and continue an on-going basis.

This is an average sized primary school where pupils and staff work well within Early Years, creating an interesting and engaging environment.

The school is looking for a committed and successful Early Years (EYFS) Teaching Assistant, to work full time across both Nursery and Reception, working full time hours, Monday to Friday, 08:30 – 15:30. Ideally applicants will have expierence of supporting children on a one-to-one basis, providing individualised support and care. The successful Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teaching Assistant will have excellent knowledge of working with children in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and ideally will have worked with children with SEND. The successful Early Years Foundation (EYFS) Teaching Assistant will also support on a whole class basis, focusing on Literacy and Numeracy.

To be considered for the position of Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teaching Assistant you must:

  • Have      experience supporting children in primary education within the Early Years      Foundation Stage (EYFS)
  • Hold      a Level 3 or above qualification in childcare
  • Have      a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of Primary School      Staff
  • Have      a passion for teaching with the ability to plan and deliver inspiring      lessons
