Vision for Education are seeking to appoint a full-time Teaching Assistant to work in Early Years within one of our client schools in central Newcastle. This position is set to begin in October 2021, with a view to extend across the rest of the academic year. Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position is a Level 3 in Childcare. 

The role

The ideal candidate will have a creative and enthusiastic approach to teaching and learning and be able to provide an optimal learning environment which promotes the healthy development of all pupils. The candidate will have exceptional knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage and be able to work independently to offer support and as part of a successful team.

Requirements

To be considered for the EYFS Teaching Assistant position, you will:

• Have had experience of supporting children with diverse needs. 

• Be creative and enthusiastic towards delivering learning to the children. 

• Hold a minimum of Level 3 Childcare. 

• Extensive knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
