Ashbourne is an outstanding Independent Sixth Form College in the heart of Kensington, London. We are seeking a new Facilities Assistant to work with our Facilities Manager and contribute to the smooth operations of the College. 

We are seeking an enthusiastic, highly motivated, flexible and organised individual who would like the opportunity to be a Facilities Assistant, alongside being an essential member of the college operations team. 

The successful applicant will be organised, hard-working, an effective communicator and will be able to use ICT efficiently. Duties will include assisting with the maintenance of the college (support in IT and Premises), completing daily checks to ensure the college is safe and clean, assisting with deliveries and orders, helping organise and set up College Events, typing documents, newsletters and emails for the department. The successful candidate will show initiative and they will work independently as appropriate.  

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and feel comfortable meeting and dealing with a wide variety of people, both in person and on the telephone, including teachers and external suppliers. Experience of Health and Safety and familiarity with Apple Mac OS is a plus but not essential. 

The working hours for this post are: 08.30 to 18.00.

Ashbourne Independent Sixth Form College is a mixed, non-selective, non-denominational, general further education college situated in Kensington, West London.

The college was founded as Ashbourne Independent College in 1981 and was co-educational from the start. It is a member of the Council for Independent Further Education (CIFE). A smaller than average institution of its type, the college provides 157 places for students between the ages of 13 and 21 when fully subscribed.
