After a successful trial of the position of Facilities Co-ordinator, we are seeking a motivated, intelligent, enthusiastic and joy-filled professional to join our team as we transition to the position of Facilities Manager. The Facilities Manager will work in close partnership with the Business Manager and College Leadership Team, as such the successful applicant will demonstrate outstanding levels of professionalism and discretion. The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate commitment to Excellence in the provision of professional services; outstanding communication skills; a positive disposition and a genuine desire to work in partnership to deliver outstanding facilities services to our community. A service focused mindset will be evident in the successful candidate’s ability to articulate their experience in working to create an environment where, in partnership, they have worked to support the achievement of organisational goals. To be successful in this role you will:

  • have a commitment to and understanding of the ethos and traditions of Catholic Education;
  • hold a Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card prior to commencement; and
  • be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment.

Position Tenure:  Continuing

Weeks Worked:  Up to 52 weeks per year including school holidays

Tenure Duration (If Fixed Term): 

Total Paid Hours (per wk) & Days Required: 38 hrs per week (Mon - Fri)

Salary Level, Range or Hourly Rate: School Officer Level 5 from $34.37 per hour

Employment Conditions:  Diocesan Catholic Education Employing Authorities in Queensland Single Interest Agreement

As from 23 January 2022 all BCE Schools will be an environment where all employees are fully COVID vaccinated as directed by the Queensland Chief Health Officer.

This position involves working with children.  The appointment of successful applicants will be subject to satisfactory employment screening for child related employment in accordance with the law.
