Facilities Site Supervisor – The Grove

Salary: SO1 (actual £33,073 - £34,120 per year)

Location: Haringey

Contract type: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, split shift between 7:30am and 6pm. Occasional evening working. 52 weeks per year.

We wish to appoint a Site Supervisor with an outstanding track record who is ambitious and is ready for an exciting new challenge. The Grove is a brand new Special School for autism opened in September 2018, we will be providing 104 places for children and young people between the ages of 5 and 19 on the autistic spectrum.

This is a rare opportunity to be involved in the early stages of a new school. We support our staff with an appraisal model that encourages development. Our continuing professional development ensures that staff work together to improve their practice. We empower staff to deliver great service through a high expectations culture within the school.

The successful candidates will be responsible for duties including:

● Ensuring site security. Acting as the main key-holder and controlling site keys, routine and non-routine opening, securing all buildings and grounds as required;

● Activating, deactivating and testing automated alarm and bell systems;

● Acting on call for out of hours alarm activations;

● Planning and organising of cleaner/keyholder working hours to ensure that the school is, clean and secured and alarmed at the end of the day;

● Working to maintenance procedures and to Health & safety regulations; under the management of the Operations Director;

● Complete and maintain relevant mandatory Health and Safety training as instructed by the Operations Director;
