Do you want to work in a popular and successful school where staff professional development and well-being is at the heart of our work? We prioritise staff well-being, and our ‘Golden Ticket’ scheme rewards strong staff attendance.
We are looking for a highly qualified, innovative and inspirational teacher of English, who is passionate about their subject and who is committed to raising aspirations, and securing sustained progress for all of our students through their leadership of our English Faculty.
The English Faculty is a very well established and forward-thinking team, who are all dedicated to their work with our students, and to supporting each other through their collaborative work. The Faculty is housed within a suite of well resourced, recently refurbished classroom spaces, in the heart of the school, and take up for A Level is strong. As well as having a dedicated HLTA for the Faculty, we also have The Living Room (School Library), which is staffed full time and provides additional opportunities and resources.
Gosford Hill School is situated in Kidlington, on the north western edge of Oxford near to the new Oxford Parkway Station (a 50 minute journey from London). We work closely with Oxford University and Oxford Brookes University and are also fortunate to be at the gateway to the rural Cotswolds. Visits to the school, by arrangement, are welcome.
