Required for September 2022.  The Governors of this high achieving, oversubscribed Catholic Voluntary Academy seek to appoint a practising Catholic to lead our highly successful Religious Education Faculty and to work closely with the Lay Chaplain. 

As an inspirational leader, you will have a proven track record in raising achievement and standards across all key stages and abilities.  The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate a commitment to outstanding results and have the ability to lead, inspire and motivate others. This is an opportunity for a candidate who is looking to take the next step in their career within this core curriculum area.

St. Mary’s is a popular and highly successful school situated on the North West fringe of Leeds, close to the Yorkshire Dales. The school is part of the Bishop Wheeler Catholic Academy Trust which consists of two high schools and 11 primary schools.  The June 2019 Section 48 inspection and November 2014 Ofsted inspection judged St Mary’s as an outstanding school.
