Oasis Academy Isle of Sheppey seeks to appoint a committed and enthusiastic individual with a passion for education and the ability to inspire and engage young people.

Set on an island in the great Kent countryside, we boast state of the art facilities and a unique community environment. We have outstanding facilities across two Campus’ including 250-seat theatre, performing arts suites, specialist laboratories for science and technology; construction and motor vehicle workshops, hair and beauty suite and extensive sports facilities on both Campus’. 

Situated on the Kent coast and with good motorway and rail connections, the Isle of Sheppey offers an ideal combination to enjoy the perfect work/life balance. 

There is fast and easy access to the M2 and M20; and direct train services to Gillingham (12 mins), Canterbury (20 mins) and London less than an hour away. There is affordable housing in the immediate locality of the Academy and we are in an area of rapid regeneration. 

Within the immediate vicinity, Sheerness offers good local facilities and there is a strong community programme of activities in which the Academy plays an important role. As the only secondary provision on the island, the Academy really is the hub of the local community.

Oasis Academy Isle of Sheppey is an all-inclusive secondary academy and sixth form serving young people from age 11-18. The Academy is situated across two Campuses: East at Minster Road in Minster; and West on Marine Parade, Sheerness.
