We wish to appoint a new Faculty Team Leader for our Humanities faculty in our successful 11-16 school from January 2018.

Our Humanities Faculty teaches Geography, History and RE to GCSE level. All of our Humanities teachers teach RE, History and Geography in KS3 and some RE in KS4 alongside their subject specialism.

Beaumont Leys School is a vibrant and forward thinking school whose students achieved 57% 5 A*-C including English and Maths equivalent in 2017. 20% of students achieved 3AA* grades and eleven subjects beat National Averages from a significantly low starting point in Year 7.

Our recent OFSTED Inspection (September 2016) judged that we continue to be a Good school. This is a real testament to the commitment of our staff and the hard work of our students against challenging social circumstances. We want to employ teachers who can lead, inspire, support and challenge teachers to achieve the very best.

We have high aspirations and ambitions for our students and are constantly looking for ways of promoting their achievements within the community. Our motto is 'Together We Achieve Success'.

The school cannot be successful without students, staff and parents working together. As headteacher I see it as my responsibility to ensure that the school continues to develop and improve in a positive climate, which acknowledges and recognises everybody's hard work, staff and students, and in an environment where people are supported and enabled to develop their skills, abilities and talents.
