The Adult and Community Learning provision at South Staffordshire College require a Lecturer for delivery of Family Learning ACL classes for variable hours, commencing in February/March.
This is a great opportunity for those wishing to work with adult learners, developing their new skills and passions, be it for hobby related subjects, learning a new language or other self-development, health or as a means to retrain and build their confidence towards future employment ambitions.
The successful candidate will have relevant subject knowledge and skills, a recognised subject qualification and related experience in the area. Teaching experience is also essential, ideally with adult learners.
You will hold a teaching qualification, or be willing to work towards it as part of the College Personal Development scheme.
Current courses planned include Food Art, Wider Family Learning, Adult Skills Budget, Family English Maths Language, Supporting Adults and Children with year 4 & 5 English and Story Craft. These courses are scheduled to run Monday, Tuesday & Thursday mornings and Friday afternoons across various locations in the South Staffordshire area.
