Dulwich Prep London is seeking to appoint a Family Liaison and Designated Safeguarding Lead to join our team. 

The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.

This is a position that requires charisma, diplomacy and diligence. It is a remit that will enable parents to feel fully supported and engaged with our school safeguarding practices, ensuring that pupil well-being is the school’s first priority.

Core elements of this role will be identifying, administering, overseeing, training and communicating with senior leaders, parents and outside agencies. Taking the lead in the operation of Child Protection across the school in line with latest best practice guidelines from the government.

The Family Liaison and Designated Safeguarding Lead will have line management responsibility for the Deputy Designated Safeguarding Leads.

Salary: circa £35,000pa

There is a possibility of accommodation for the successful candidate.

This long-established and well-known preparatory school educates boys aged 3 to 13 (girls 3 to 4), preparing them for entrance and scholarship examinations to independent London day schools and boarding schools across the country.
